Comments: Reintroduced in the 1960s. Accidentally released from aquaria and have caused the decline in the populations of native cyprinodont Crenichthys baileyi. Occurs in Nevada, Texas, Arizona and possibly California and Florida. A popular aquarium fish, found in 95% of pet shops near Lakes Erie and Ontario (Ref. 53249).     Ref:  FAO, 1997
